TinyURLShortening

Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and [Company Legal Name] for the use of TinyURLShortening.com. Please read them — they cover billing, what you may and may not shorten, and the limits of our responsibility.

Effective date: August 4, 2026

Last updated: August 4, 2026

This page is a general template provided for convenience and is not legal advice. Please consult the actual, signed policy for your account — and your own legal counsel — for specifics that apply to you.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using TinyURLShortening.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.

2. Description of the service

The Service lets you shorten destination URLs into short links, serve them from our domain or a custom domain you control, brand those links, and view click analytics. Features differ by plan. We may add, change, or discontinue features, and we aim to give reasonable notice before removing anything you depend on. The Service is provided as-is on an "as available" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep it current — sign-in uses magic links sent to that address. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including links created by your team members. Tell us promptly at [contact@tinyurlshortening.com] if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • Plans. We offer a Free plan and paid plans: Starter ($19/month), Growth ($49/month), and Business (from $99/month). Plan limits and features are described on our pricing page.
  • Recurring subscriptions. Paid plans are monthly recurring subscriptions. They renew automatically each month on your billing date until you cancel.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the plan fee plus any applicable taxes. We do not store your full card details.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep paid features until then and are not charged again.
  • Refunds. Fees are billed in advance and are generally non-refundable, including for partial months. If something went wrong on our end — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or an extended outage — contact us within 30 days and we will make it right, typically with a refund or credit at our discretion.
  • Price changes and failed payments. We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing recurring prices. If a payment fails we may retry, downgrade your account to the Free plan, or suspend paid features after notifying you.
  • Upgrades and downgrades. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the next billing date.

5. Acceptable use

A URL shortener can be abused, so this section is strict and we enforce it. You may not use the Service to create, host, or distribute links to:

  • Phishing pages, credential harvesting, fake login screens, or any content designed to deceive people into disclosing information.
  • Malware, ransomware, spyware, drive-by downloads, cryptojacking scripts, or exploit kits.
  • Unsolicited bulk messaging (spam) by email, SMS, social media, or any other channel.
  • Content that is illegal in the United States or in your jurisdiction, including child sexual abuse material, human trafficking, illegal firearms or drug sales, and stolen data.
  • Fraud, deceptive commerce, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or counterfeit goods.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or violates someone's privacy rights.
  • Harassment, threats, incitement to violence, or hate speech.
  • Cloaking or redirect chains intended to hide the true destination from us, from security scanners, or from your visitors.

You also may not:

  • Attempt to breach, probe, or overload the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, resell, or white-label the Service without a written agreement.
  • Bypass plan limits, rate limits, or access controls.
  • Use the Service in violation of export controls or sanctions law.

We scan destinations and may use third-party threat intelligence. We can disable individual links, block domains, or suspend accounts immediately and without notice when we reasonably believe this section has been violated, and we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. Report abuse to [contact@tinyurlshortening.com].

6. Your content and our rights

You keep ownership of the destination URLs, domains, and other content you bring to the Service. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and serve that content solely to operate the Service. You represent that you have the right to link to the destinations you shorten.

7. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination your short links stop resolving and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy — export anything you need first. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) do survive.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that analytics will be complete or perfectly accurate, or that any link will always resolve. We are not responsible for the content of destination websites, whether yours or someone else's.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [Company Legal Name] AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify [Company Legal Name] against claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your use of the Service, your content or destination URLs, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which [Company Legal Name] is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there, and each waive any objection to venue. Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief to protect its intellectual property.

12. General

These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
